Het
kwik heeft in het Britse Lagerhuis
een
dieptepunt bereikt, het kan niet lager.
Geen
strijder, pleitbezorger, fakkeldrager
belichaamt
nog elan in dit gedruis.
Dan
laat Elizabeth wat van zich horen:
Ze mept hen allen deftig om de oren.
